My name is Briana Sherwick (ne Wilms) from Swift Current, SK. I attended Bill’s camp back in 2007 when I was in Grade 10. After attending his camp in February, I received many letters and emails with opportunities to play at all different types of schools across the US. I then attended the camp held in June, which is a camp where you get an opportunity to learn from some of the coaches from the US. During the June camp, I was able to see what my future coach was like on the court, rather than just getting a feel for them through a phone. Bill makes sure that the athletes who attend his camps are taken care of from start to finish. I can attest to this, as even after I chose my school, Bill followed my journey. The coach I initially went to play for had moved on after my second season, and Bill knew the coach who came in wasn’t the perfect fit for me, so he contacted me and another coach who still had a position for me elsewhere. Now, after 10 years of being done my college career, I still keep in touch with Bill. I will forever be grateful for Bill and his connections and knowledge of volleyball. If you are at all interested in furthering your volleyball careers, these are the camps you want to attend!
